Join the DC Front Runners for a trip to Virginia wine country on Sunday, October 20! Tickets cost $115 and include transportation, 2 wine tastings, and lunch with a glass of wine. We’ll be visiting Chester Gap Cellars and Rappahannock Cellars. Both wineries are located in rolling hills of Rappahannock County and offer a variety of award-winning wines.
Space is limited; Non-alcohol tickets are available $75. Vegetarian lunch options are available. Proceeds go to the DC Front Runners.
We will depart DC at 9:30am and return by 5:00pm.
Our first stop is Chester Gap Cellars, where we will taste a variety of red and white wines and then relax with lunch and glass of wine. Owned by Jeff Seese and Travis Patton, the gay-owned winery gets its name from the scenic gap in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Our second stop is Rappahannock Cellars. With more than 30 acres of vineyard, on an 85+ acre farm, Rappahannock is able to produce more than 10,000 cases of wine a year, featuring eleven varietals including Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Viognier vines.
